This adventurous half-day tour takes you from downtown Reykjavik to a lava field near the volcanic crater south-east of the town of Hafnarfjordur, where you』ll start your 『Cave Leidarendi』 speleology experience.
Get ready to explore a 900 meters long tunnel and discover stunning landscapes, filled with stalactites and colorful rock formations.
After your caving adventure, you will devote some time on the way back to Reykjavik to learn about stockfish or in Icelandic, "harefiskur" and the traditional method of fish preservation.
Your caving experience ends when our guide drops you off at your hotel in downtown Reykjavik.
